Hemcore hemp Seeds

The seed of the hemp plant has many remarkable properties. Indeed hemp seed can be described as a super-food, having a near perfect blend of essential fatty acids (EFA’s). Hemp seed is either consumed whole as a health food supplement, or further processed and used in an ever expanding range of food products. Hemp seed products are available in nearly all supermarkets and food stores, with the GOOD Brand leading the way. As well as food, hemp seed oil finds many applications as an ingredient in hair and skin care products, most prominently used by the Body Shop.

Developed together with Braham & Murray and the GOOD Brand, Hemp Technology exclusively uses an agronomic method that enables growers in northern climates such as ours to produce human food grade seed as well as straw. Hemp Technology chooses specially selected hemp growers to produce the food grade seed under a dual cropping (seed and straw) contract. The hemp seed is removed from the stem on the farm and supplied as a grain in bulk for further processing.
